Wuhan to Build World's Third Tallest Skyscraper
When the building finished, it would be the new landmark of Central China.
A 606-meters-high comprehensive skyscraper, which will be the third tallest building in the world when finished, started construction on Dec. 8 in Wuhan.
The construction site of the building stands at the area between the Yangtze River Bridge and the No. 2 Yangtze River Bridge in Binjiang Business District and occupies an area of about 3 million square meters. The Wuhan municipal government will invest more than 30 billion yuan in the project.
After construction, the building will be the third tallest skyscraper in the world following the 800-meters-tall Dubai Tower and the 632-meters-high Shanghai Center.
